How to get your money back if you paid with a credit card and got scammed:

If you paid by credit card, you may be eligible for a chargeback. A chargeback from your credit card company provides a refund if: you didn't receive the item, the item was damaged, or you received the wrong product. You believe a product or service is substandard or is not as presented. Collect all emails, messages, orders and return receipts to receive a refund. Take screenshots of the website showing your order and transaction history. You often have to provide all correspondence to the credit card company as evidence. And then send emails to your bank. The next step is to contact your credit card company. The time it takes to submit a chargeback request is typically 30-120 days and the process varies by credit card network: Mastercard 45-120 days, Visa 30 days, American Express - no limit. If you have a credit card through your bank, it makes sense to contact your bank first. The credit card network will contact the company and ask them to respond to your claim. They are often more willing to handle a chargeback than a credit card network. What if the bank rejects the application? Check the reason why the chargeback request was rejected. You have the right to read the response of the company that deceived you. Maybe you can refute their arguments with additional evidence.
